Hi everyone!!!My full name is Seyed Amir Mohammad Emam. But I go by amir. I was born on September 28 1978 in El Paso Texas.

My parents are Iranian and I think of myself as an Iranian-American!!!:)I lived in the US till 1991 and then went to Iran.

I went to Junior High and High school in Iran but returned to the United States in 1999 to continue my studies.

I lived in Arlington and gradtuated in May 2003 with a bachelors in Electrical Engineering.

I know work for Bell helicopter in Lexington Park Maryland.

Cities I have lived in
I come from a very traditional and religious family. I have two sisters who are younger than me named Aala and Safaa. My father was a student in the United states and he is a University professor in Tehran.My mom is a housefife.My mom and dad's side of the family are very large. My mom's parents live in shiraz. They have 8 children, four boys and four girls. My oldest uncle lives in Tehran and he has three daughters. My oldest aunt also lives in Tehran and she has three daughters as well.One of her daughters lives in Dallas!!!The other in shiraz. My second uncle lives in Ahvaz and he has two sons and a daughter. His son, Ali, is a good friend of mine as well as a good cousin!:)My second aunt lives in shiraz and she has two sons and a daughter. Her son Amir, is also a good friend of mine. My third uncle lives in Shiraz too and he has two daughters.My third aunt lives in Tehran and has three sons. Ehsan an Mohammad are the names of two of her sons that are good friends of mine.My fourth uncle is a POW in Iraq. he has been imprisoned since 1980 and we have heard from him since.My dad's parents live in Ahvaz. I have two aunts and three uncles. My oldest aunt lives in Ahvaz and has two sons and a daughter. Farzin and Masood are my good friends. My oldest uncle lives in ahvaz and he is a pharmacist and has two daughters and a son. Reza, his son, is also a good friend of mine.my second uncle lives in a small city called "Miankooh" and he is the head of a large oil refinery there. He has three daughters.My third uncle lives in Tehran and has a son and a daughter. My second aunt lives in Ahvaz.

My Family
Well I am the oldest male grandchild on my mom's side of the family and the second oldest male grandchild on my dad's side. I am also the only person in my whole family that is currently studying outside of Iran. There is alot of expectation of me and I believe that I have to make my family proud. I am currently a Sophmore at UTA majoring in Electrical Engineering. I plan to continue my studies up until I get a PHD. I would then like to contribiute what I have learned to both of my countries. I wish that with faith in god and myself I can acheive my goals and be a source of pride for not only my family but for my nations.
